- I turned 40 recently! And I am on top of the world! I am on my way to the person that I want to be. I chose to do something about the me that I didn't like and I am hitting my 40's running....literally thanks to my Personal Trainer! LOL But I have achieved so much not just body wise but so much more.I have so much hope and excitement for my future! Loving life!!!! The CDPT (personal training company) has been a big part of this happening!
- What made me start?
- I was sick of feeling tired and I was frustrated that I was in a rut that I couldn't get out of without help and support. I was tired mentally, physically, spiritually....I needed a change a big one!I Knew my 40th was coming and after lots of chatting with my friend Ains, her encouragement and knowing there was a PT group based at our local footy club and my hubby was behind me (first time ever) I weakly arrived on their doorstep. My hubby has quite a respect for the owner of CDPT which is huge coming from him! So he always encouraging me to go to all the classes I can get to............................I am now onto another 8 week challenge. I can't get over how much my body has changed and is still changing!

8 week Challenge...
My 8 week challenge starts tomorrow!
I have been "clean eating" for a over a week now...and doing really well! I have lost some more weight on the scales...but the biggest thing is...I am starting to fit into smaller clothes...size 14 clothes!
I am still doing all the classes that I had previous mentioned but also adding in a DVD workout at home "Julian Michael's Shred in 30 Days". I am needing to amp up all my exercise and fine tuning my eating to make the next 8 weeks count!
I will post some photos real soon...one from when I was at my biggest...and then my before photo for 8 week challenge...which will be a big change from my first photo anyway!
Will you keep you updated on how I am progressing...

Results starting to show...
It is all going along really well. After a couple more weeks and a few set backs with injury and pain...my body is starting to change shape! It is getting easier to make healthier choices in food. I can't eat too much high fat as my body doesn't want it. Also it can only stand small amounts of high sugar. So currently winning there!
Exercise I am loving! I am still doing personal training, 2 x boxing classes and a beach/commando course bootcamp per week. My willingness and motivation is still at a high...have some days of negativity but after a PT session I am inspired and recharged ready to fight another a week. I can't believe how much my fitness has improved in just this small amount of time.
I have had to deal with tennis elbow (tendonitis) in my right elbow. Ended up having an injection of cortisone to help with pain. I have had to swap to shadow boxing during boxing classes. It was this class that caused the tennis elbow. But I have had the attitude of "I am not giving up just because I am in pain".
I am starting a 8 week challenge in couple of weeks time. Spending these next few weeks increasing my fitness and treaking my food intake so that it is helping with my metabolism. So that I am up and running before my feet hit the ground attacking the challenge!
My first main goal is get under 80kg! So bring it on!!!!

There is improvement...
Well 3 weeks in and have been a bit down as the scales haven't moved this week...my tennis elbow has really flared up!
I have been trying to generally good with food. I have been doing all the classes that I planned to do.
This morning I tried on my size 14 jeans that I couldn't do up 3 weeks ago and they do up!!! So the cms are coming off, my fitness is improving to the point that I need work harder during my sessions to feel like I got a work out and another is if I have a binge on high sugar or high fat food I have to throw it up ( sorry gross ).
So really I am on the right track! And things are happening even though I think they are not.

Starting over...
Being human I have been very slack! I am starting over. I am overweight, have high cholestrol, and extremely unfit. I have started with a local PT company and I am starting again.
I am trying to maintain a healthy diet (major mental game that one) and regular exercise. Every week I am doing 4 major sessions: PT, 2x boxing, and a bootcamp. Trying to fit in some walking too.
I am into my 2nd week of my 12 results package. So will be on here a lot more to keep you informed of how I going.

Christmas Blues...
Very sad and disappointed that I have gained over 2 kg during the Christmas period...
So yes I will be having New Year's resolutions this year...LOSE WEIGHT!!!!!!!!!!
My Dr has requested I have a followup cholestrol test...I already know what the test will say...high cholestrol :-(
So with a high chance of coronary heart disease and also family history of Type-2 Diabetes I really have to change my lifestyle for better and forever!!
So 2012 is the year to make a difference!
