Well 1 week is gone since I started on TF and guess what....
I lost 2.5kg!!!!
Very excited and it is spurring me on!!
I am finding the diet more and more easier as time goes on which is good. I was standing near the foodcourt at my local shopping centre today and I was not interested at all about buying anything. Not even my ususal hot choc with marshmallows. I haven't had any coke/pepsi products in over a week and I am not missing it at all!
I have been having alot of pain in both of my feet for quite awhile which I am sure is due to how much extra weight I am carrying. I am off to the Dr tomorrow to check they are ok as I want to start to do some regular walks but not sure if that it is safe with the possibility of stress fractures in my feet.
But otherwise...how exciting that I can lose weight for the meantime just doing TF and my day to day activities.

Some inspiration...
To inspire me on I am setting up some outfits at home for me to work towards...I have three outifts in size 14, 12 and 10 displayed in my room.
Yes the size 10 is a very hard goal... but I'm allowed to dream big aren't I ??
Some other goals I have are:
10kg lost - day spa
Size 12 - buy a new outfit from Lorna Jane (excited much about this one)
Ultimate goal: fit into the dress I wore to my 21st...then its off to a nice dinner and theatre performance with my hubby all dressed up!

Some new recipes tried...
Well...still not a fan of the soup shakes...hmmm....I made a pizza base as per TF recipe using the cream of chicken soup satchet...added homemade tomato sauce with vegies and riccotta cheese on top...
It was edible but not something I will repeat...think I will totally skip the soup satchets...gave it a go...
Felt a little off today...I am being extremely controlled...but I did have a little slice of homemade garlic pizza made on lebanese bread...first bit of carbs I have had since Monday...

Small update...
The mango shake as a pannacotta worked a treat this morning! Yay!
The chocolate fudge brownies made out of the choc and choc mint shakes...YUM! Looking forward to lunch. LOL
I had a simple chicken and salad with a thai dressing I made from scratch...very yummy...will be making that again!
No headache today...possibly also due to Hubby back from Christchurch... :-)

Tony Ferguson Shakes
I hereby say that these shakes are the best ones I have ever tried. I have tried various others: SureSlim, Fernwood and another can't remember and ewww could not cope with the grainy texture and after taste. BUT...I am not very good at having them for breakfast as they do make me gag! But since I generally enjoy the shakes I am not quitting yet! The best things about TF shakes that you can bake with them and also turn them into dessert like edible creations. I have just cooked choc fudge brownies using the choc and choc-mint shakes...YUM! I use this as a meal replacement. Easy! The mango shakes I have been having in the morning I have turned tomorrow's into a pannacotta with gelatine...will let you know how that goes.
Dinner is a serve of protein (meat, chicken etc) and 2 cups of veges... TF has some awesome recipes online that I am loving having a go at. Last two nights I had egg and salmon rolls (egg, salmon, ricotta cheese and salad) very delicious and very filling!
You are meant to have Chromium tablets everyday to curb sugar cravings but I haven't had to. I am generally not looking for anything but if I think I need a little pick up I have a couple of spoonfuls of TF jelly and I am set. I am not feeling hungry inbetween meals. When I start to feel hungry its actually around the time that I am meant to eat again. I have been having headaches Tues and Wed especially when waking up in the morning. Today I only woke up with a slight one but I feel better today...more energy!
I know you'll be thinking you have only been on this diet since Tuesday...but I am doing so much better than previous tries already! I am proud of myself and at least blogging my journey is making me accountable for my actions! Thanks to the people that are already following my blog and have left lovely comments!

The start of my journey...
My journey has already started...I am a member of a weight loss support group on FB and have been totally inspired to make 2011 the year for lots of changes including ME!! Yes this is not the first time I have tried to lose my weight! But my mindset is very different this time! I have friends that I am accountable to and who are encouraging and supporting me.
Two days ago my friend KF and I went and signed up Tony Ferguson Weight Loss Centres to get things moving a bit faster. I will be blogging on how I cope with the diet, the temptations, the ups and downs and life in general. I will be putting my weigh-ins and waist measurements on here so you can follow on.
On Monday I weighed in at 89.2kg (the heaviest I have been is 92kg). My waist was 102cm.
This photo was taken over a year a go not much has changed. The next photos are a bit more in your face but a wake-up call!!
Size 16-18 and 158cm tall...not at all healthy!! Things have to change! The mind and body are willing so let's do it!!!!
