There is improvement...

Well 3 weeks in and have been a bit down as the scales haven't moved this week...my tennis elbow has really flared up!

I have been trying to generally good with food. I have been doing all the classes that I planned to do.

This morning I tried on my size 14 jeans that I couldn't do up 3 weeks ago and they do up!!! So the cms are coming off, my fitness is improving to the point that I need work harder during my sessions to feel like I got a work out and another is if I have a binge on high sugar or high fat food I have to throw it up ( sorry gross ).

So really I am on the right track! And things are happening even though I think they are not.

Starting over...

Being human I have been very slack!  I am starting over.  I am overweight, have high cholestrol, and extremely unfit.  I have started with a local PT company and I am starting again.

I am trying to maintain a healthy diet (major mental game that one) and regular exercise.  Every week I am doing 4 major sessions: PT, 2x boxing, and a bootcamp.  Trying to fit in some walking too.

I am into my 2nd week of my 12 results package.  So will be on here a lot more to keep you informed of how I going.

Christmas Blues...

Very sad and disappointed that I have gained over 2 kg during the Christmas period...

So yes I will be having New Year's resolutions this year...LOSE WEIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

My Dr has requested I have a followup cholestrol test...I already know what the test will say...high cholestrol :-(

So with a high chance of coronary heart disease and also family history of Type-2 Diabetes I really have to change my lifestyle for better and forever!!

So 2012 is the year to make a difference!

Checking in...

Well letting you know my first weigh in was at 88kg...not good.

After a busy week and a weekend of overeating...and Christmas next week...ugh!!!!!
Not feeling so good...I am sure you know that "bloated-why-did-I-a-eat-that-much" feeling.

Well nearly a kilogram heavier...things have to change this week leading up to Christmas.
Salads for most of the week no softdrink and no sweets.  Lots and lots of water!!!
Time to cleanse this body before next week.  And also not to overeat at Christmas!

Well I will check in again next and let you know how I went...

I'm back.....

Oh deary me!!!! Was it really July that I last posted!?  That is just not fair...life goes so fast!

Well let's just say, I am back on here because I am back to square one and I need to really make amends!  Yes I am human!  My weight I lost has found me again...My house is ridiculously cluttered and to the point I may need "Hoarders" to come and help...well maybe not that bad...but it's still not good!  Need money to do some renovations on our house.

So, yes I have started my excel spreadsheet with my weight loss goals and exercise goals.  So I will come back every week to tell you how I am going.  I need to be accountable to you wonderful people out there!  So comment away with your ideas and support.  I definitely need it!

My first weigh in is tomorrow and we start from there!

Life is just mad...

It has been so long since I have been on here.  I have been working part time 5 days a week, the boys sports commitments and running the house has caused a lot of my goals and creative activities to be put to the side.

Let's say most of my goals that I have mentioned previously in my blog has come to a screeching holt!

On the weight loss front I have plateaued which is good and bad.  I have not lost any more weight but have not gained any and with all the work I have been doing I have been toning so my body shape has changed a bit which has been a positive!  But I have a high cholesterol problem so this needs to be addressed, losing weight will help this.

On the decluttering front there have been some improvement in this.  I am trying to put things away straight after using them.  I am trying to tidy up around the place after boys have gone to sleep before I sit on the lounge for the night and don't move.  The garden outside is getting quite a makeover with the help of my mother who has taken it on as a personal project!

But since I wrote last we have had some financial strain and it has caused me to look at menu planning and using up what was in the pantry, freezer and fridge. Thankfully we are ok again but it was great see that we could live on not buying the luxury items that we think that we needed.  I now need to now do that on a weekly basis as money saving has become one my major priority goals.

I have been watching out for real mum's out there in facebook land who are struggling with the same things and getting ideas from them on what I can do improve our lives.  A great one I found today was a lady who's aim was to be a millionaire by the age of 30.  No that is not my aim but she had some awesome ideas on how to save and find money in a certain amount of time.  One of those ideas was "Sell 1000 things".  I love this as it brings in money but also declutters my house!  This was part of her "Finding $40,000 in 6mths" saving up for what bills, holidays, renovations etc she wanted to pay for in the next 6 mths.  I will read up more on how she is doing these and how I can implement these ideas in my life and write about them here.

Decluttering goals can be continued.  My weight loss goals are now restarting due to going overseas in a few months time.  Money saving goals have started but have to be ramped up very quickly!!  So my goal for this week is to sit down and write down what I need to achieve in the next 6 mths.  Exciting but scary at the same time!

On the declutter front...

I have made a folder of all the tasks from "Michele Connoly's 30 Day Organise-athon" and slowly making my way around the house.   While  I was waiting for the toast to cook the other morning, I tidied and culled my cutley drawer.  Took 5 minutes and it has made a difference already.

I have tidied the side garden (with help from Mum - thanks!) and we paved a little bit so the rubbish bins can be moved out easier now.  Did I go buy some new pavers?  No dug up the ones from under the outside washing line that I hardly used and we laid them.  I wanted to paint the fence a particular colour and happened to mention it to friends in conversation and they had a 4L tin of paint in a similar colour to what I wanted.  My friend ended up giving it to me for free as they couldn't use it.  Thanks N!!!

When I am doing some storage I am trying to use boxes and containers that have been lying around for years gathering dust.  Trying to save money as well as getting rid of the clutter!  It is quite a joy when you are recycling things around the home and see areas starting to look tidier and more orderly.
