Things are going along nicely. I am really enjoying this diet / change in lifestyle. That is saying something! I am very much in control of my eating not the other way round for a change. I can choose to listen to my food cravings in the middle of the afternoon give in or go and find something physical to do instead. I haven't been in control of my eating in a very long time!
I now allow myself to have normal food when I go out. I had Italian (pasta and garlic pizza) on Wed night and then ended up having Indian on Sat night. In the past as soon as I have tasted this food I want more of it and tend to slip out off my diet and be back at square one. But, yay for me, I am in control! So when home again I am back to my strict regime and all is good! I feel better eating the food that is on my diet than eating the other. It tasted lovely and I enjoyed my meal without feeling guilty. My body may reject me a bit the next day or so due to it not being used to eating pasta and cream sauces. But I am not badgering myself over what I ate. The next food I have is the healthy option and my body thanks me.
A little update... after 3 weeks I have lost a total of 4kgs and lost 4cm around my waist. I may put a little on in the next few days due to the Italian and Indian food. But it will come off again.
So happily cruising along...
